ourselves and for others, through movement and the beauty hidden within the grime of reality. We wish to explore human nature in all its forms, fearlessly, not to shock, rather to expose its complexity & the magnificent in it. We will turn through uncommonly mundane tales to uncover the mysteries of the natural, of all that surrounds us every day, facing all that we chose to forget to satisfy apathy. We will unearth the sacred in the smallness of the simple miracle of existence. In a society in which impermanence has been compressed into consumerism, we will take a closer look at the invariability of our own empathic nature, we will dance to all that we no longer pay attention to and let our truths unfold through all possible reflections. We will be honest, we will be sorry, we will make fun of it and we will dance it all out.

Founder and artistic director Linda Borini has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. As a ballet dancer at the beginning of her career, Linda traveled through Europe and learned about the discipline surrounding the opportunity of expression through dance. She eventually decided to stir away from the path to learn about life. Once back on track, she ventured into other forms of performance, such as modeling, theatre, film, fine arts.. But each journey found an end coinciding with her need, once the knowledge of each craft had been satisfied enough by her standards, to go beyond, to find a reason to execute her vision that would go pass self interest.

Bernard Hiller, Linda's first true mentor, once said 'You need a dream so big that it will be impossible for you to resist accomplishing it '.

Following a fairly successful and prolific short run through the glitz of Hollywood, Linda once again found herself at square one. And like a childhood wish, she stumbled upon a circus to run away with. After 10 incredible years with the popular Lucent Dossier Experience, with whom she grew immensely as a talent while sharpening her leadership skills as Assistant Creative Director to the brilliant Dream Rockwell, a collaboration that allowed her to grace stages all over the globe carrying the torch of inspiration for the dreamers of the future, she once again feels the need to explore beyond, for her own artistic development, to be able to push the envelop further.

Seeking an audience stimulated by radical thought, challenging intellect and the modesty of timeless beauty, we, The Ubuntudance Project, are a group of performers wanting to apply our gifts to something grater. We hope to find ways to raise awareness, for
