BFA in Jazz Dance Pkerformance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Upon graduation she traveled the world as a dancer, singer, and aerialist with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Celebrity Cruise Lines. Kelly has also performed at venues around the US including the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, the Troubadour in LA, Santos Nightclub in NYC and Wrigley Field in Chicago as a backup dancer for various artists. This past year, Kelly was a part of the ensemble of Beauty and the Beast with 3D Theatricals in Orange County and will be returning as one of the wives in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in October. Kelly was also involved in a horror show this past year as a physical actor in Urban Death. She is currently in the process of a collaborative effort with her husband Justin, shooting music videos for his original songs set to her choreography and dance.
Kenny Harlow is a professional dancer hailing from Seattle, WA. A competitive gymnast as a child, he began break-dancing in high school, then minored in ballet and modern dance at the University of Washington while immersing himself in jazz and hip-hop classes at Westlake Dance Studio. His well-rounded background makes him a passionate and versatile dancer today. Kenny’s career has spanned live stage and television performances (Latin Grammy Awards, Toni Braxton: Revealed, Taurus World Stunt Awards), feature film (Stomp The Yard, Dance Flick, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish), musical theatre (Peter Pan, La Cage Au Folles, Disney’s Aladdin), commercials and international touring productions. Outside of dance, Kenny enjoys exercise, coaching others on their health and fitness journeys, horror movies, travel and general leaps into unexpected territory.
Born and raised in California, Ashley began her dance training at the age of 3, focusing on tap, jazz, and ballet. Later she expanded in contemporary and hip hop. She studied singing and acting as well in order to provide a more well rounded performing arts background. After graduating high school, she landed a position with the Walt Disney Company which has afforded her the opportunity to perform in parades such as “A Christmas Fantasy”, “Pixar Play Parade”, and “Lunar New Year” as well as stage shows like “The Golden Horseshoe” and most recently, the long running stage show “Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular”. TV credits include, “The View”, “LIVE with Kelly and Michael”, and the new hit Nickelodeon show “Henry Danger”. Most recently she has had the opportunity to work with the great Barry Lather on an up and coming tribute show to the late Michael Jackson. Apart from performing, Ashley enjoy’s teaching the next generation of dancers and is dedicated to the enrichment of others lives through the art and discipline of dance. As a lifelong student herself though, her heart and knowledge of dance and performance is ever growing and she looks forward to what the future has in store!
After attending voice lessons at Long Beach City College and California State University of Long Beach, in 2000, she participated in Warner Bros. “Popstars 2” and was praised in publications like Variety Magazine and TV Guide – “the girl in the wheelchair, who’s voice blew everyone out of the water”. In 2002 she was cast in Disney’s “Aladdin” at Disney California Adventure Theme Park, She is the first performer in a wheelchair to ever be on any Disney stage in the world, performing daily for 8,000 guests from every corner of the world. Showing the entire world that talent sees no boundaries, she's now a motivational speaker. Being a voice for people living with disabilities by breaking attitudinal and architectural barriers is a passion in addition to singing. 2010 Ms. Wheelchair California and Ms. Wheelchair America 2011. Her reign platform: “Empowering Children with Disabilities to Make Their Own Dreams Come True". Other credits include ‘Carmen’ a Sundance hit and Academy Award Nominated “The Sessions”, MTV’s “Awkward”. She's the founder and owner of The Ms. Wheelchair California Foundation.
Chanel Pepper is an aerialist, dancer and choreographer based out of Santa Barbara and Los Angeles California. She has been training the art of dance since the age of 3, starting in classic styles such as tap and ballet then continuing into jazz, lyrical, hip-hop and contemporary. As a teen, she was the recipient of multiple Santa Barbara Dance Alliance Scholarships, which allowed her to continue on with her passion.
After witnessing a moving performance, Chanel took her dance training to new heights and began her unrelenting training and exploration of the aerial arts. Since then she has had the opportunity to perform as a dancer and aerialist all over the world. Chanel is also an instructor at The Aerial Studio in Ventura, Studio B in Carpinteria and the Fishbon Pescadrome in Santa Barbara."My intention is to use my body as a medium for transformation and to tell stories of what it is like to be human. Through the contrast of movement and stillness, I hope to invoke an emotion that tempts us to dig deeper, be truthful and do the work."
Genevieve Zander was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In high school, she trained at The Performing Arts Center in Van Nuys under Louise Mandel and Joseph Malone, also participating in their full-time apprentice program studying jazz, ballet, hip-hop, tap, voice, and acting. University credits include the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at UC Irvine and the World Arts and Cultures/Dance department at UCLA, whence she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. She has also gathered professional training experience from her season with Dominic Walsh in Houston, Texas, and summer programs with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Spellbound Contemporary Ballet in Rome, Italy, and Sidra Bell Dance New York. Credits include LA Opera, Disney, Clairobscur Dance Company, Lucent Dossier Experience, Sarah Elgart/Arrogant Elbow, Ubuntu Dance Project, and her own choreographic projects.
Milo Gonzalez is a guitarist and contortionist from Venice Beach, California. Being a self-taught classical and flamenco style guitarist, and the step-child of the legendary punk rock bass player Chuck Dukowski of Black Flag, Gonzalez’s music derives influence as much from guitar masters such as Paco De Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Andres Segovia, and Leo Brouwer, as it does from modern day heavy rock/metal, and psychedelic music, such as Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Radiohead, and The Mars Volta. Milo has studied yoga and gymnastics from a very young age. He studied yoga in Mysore, India with his father, and world renowned ashtanga yogi's, Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Rangaswamy. He has performed acrobatics and contortion with many Los angeles based circus groups such as Lucent Dossier, Stilt circus, cirque berzerk.
Christine brings extensive background in choreography, teaching, dance, and stage production. Associate Producer, Choreographer, and former core member of cirque entertainment company Lucent Dossier Experience, stage credits include performances at venues such as Coachella, Lightening in a Bottle, Electric Picnic (Ireland), and Boom (Portugal), the historic Palace Theatre (Los Angeles) and Liberty Theatre (NYC). Has been a mover and a shaker since before she can remember. Destined for a life filled with movement, she choreographed her first solo piece at the age of three, a classic of her family home videos. Since that video she graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University and has performed throughout the U.S, in Canada and Costa Rica. Steph J. has taught dance and choreography at Renaissance Arts Academy, Idyllwild Arts High School as well as set multiple full length musicals for Loyola Marymount University. She is passionate about making dance that evokes a cathartic experience for the audience and pulls the viewer on a journey. Her work explores the depths of human emotion that manifests in raw natural movement. Steph J. is also certified in the GYROTONIC Expansion Systemâ, in which she guides clients through body transformation and understanding. She has worked with companies Ledges and Bones, Kdub Dance, Wilderbe, Bubble Gutter and LA Sirens. Alicia Marie is an aerial artist who speaks from the depth of her soul through the grace of her form. She has been performing for fifteen years with the help of many great teachers as well as her own self guided training and study. Alicia is an accomplished choreographer, creative director, producer, performer and educator. In 2004 she was invited to go on a world tour with Rock Legend Motely Crue where she choreographed and performed revolutionary aerial and ground acts in over thirteen countries and on four continents. This tour gained her recognition by media giants like Rolling Stone Magazine, Spin, London Alternative and Classic Rock. Her works with Motley crew lead her to open for rock legends Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones. In 2006 Alicia then joined the Avant guard circus company The Lucent Dossier Experience. She has performed daring acts of aerial dance suspended from Moving zip-lines, cranes and trees. She is best known for being an innovator of traditional circus by creating many original performance apparatus.
